Queen B dropped her new album on saturday and gave viewers a lot to process at the night of its premiere.
‘Lemonade’ is her 6th studio work and a ‘visual album’ with videos for 12 out of the 13 songs.
The album featured collaboration, co-production and guest vocal-entry from other artist including rapper Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd.
The album title was inspired by Beyonce’ s grandmother Agnez Dereon, as well as her husband Jay Z’s grandmother, Hattie White.
“…add to that themes of love, betrayal, empowerment, tribalism and family, and it was enough to make heads spin.” CNN reported.
